The Kayla GBM Foundation is extremely careful with all the donations it receives. Together, progress is being made in the fight against glioblastoma multiforme. The pie chart below details exactly how we distribute our donations:
The Kayla GBM Foundation uses its funds to further the causes outlined in its mission statement. In particular, emphasis is placed upon funding research and assistance to those surviving glioblastoma multiforme.
In the year 2007, $1000 was invested into these two foundation objectives. $500 was donated to the National Institute of Health and was earmarked to exclusively finance research on glioblastoma multiforme. $500 was also donated to the Reno Cancer Foundation. This money was designated to assist only those who are diagnosed with this type of brain tumor and require financial assistance.
